Carol and Judy worked hard to produce a fine needle felted Alsatian!

30 Years Spinning
June 11th saw Stafford Knot Spinners celebrate its 30th anniversary! 
Red Lion Farm at Haughton hosted the event which saw current and past members of the group coming together with members of the Walsall Spinners group, friends, family and passers by.
It was a fun, interactive event where anyone could have a go at spinning, weaving, a fibre quiz (devilishly hard!), pin the tail on the sheep and other activities. Busy! Busy! Busy!
The furthest travelled attendee came all the way from Scotland! Our past president and one of the founder members, Sylvia, came back to join the celebration and to urge us to continue to practise and share our crafts.
Everyone agreed that it was a fitting celebration of the group’s longevity, ongoing enthusiasm and wide variety of skills and knowledge.
